This is a Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation notice. The final solicitation package will follow. This opportunity is only available to Small Businesses. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Great American Outdoors Act Construction Team, has a requirement for the demolition of existing structures and infrastructure and the construction of a new maintenance, fire cache and fire crew bunkhouse building. Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge is in Marble Falls, TX 78654 (Travis County). This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract and Award will be based on a Best Value: Tradeoff Evaluation. The complete Solicitation, Statement of Work and all applicable attachments, will be posted to https://sam.gov/ under Contract Opportunities on or about February 6, 2023 under Solicitation Reference number 140FGA23R0006. Interested contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management, www.sam.gov) and complete Online Representations and Certifications. A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will also be announced with the solicitation. The NAICS code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $39.5 million. The project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The work will commence within 15 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed by the agreed upon date at the time of award.
