The upcoming solicitation will be a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed price non-commercial items construction contract for Orphaned Oil and Gas Well Plugging located at Deep Fork National Wildlife Refuge, near Okmulgee, Oklahoma. The magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code is 213112 and the small business size standard is $47.0M. The basis of the award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) in accordance with FAR Part 15, to result in an award to the responsible offeror pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about March 3, 2023, with an anticipated proposal due date approximately 30 days after. Award is expected to be made within 30 days of the proposal due date. The performance period of the resulting contract will begin from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and shall be completed within 120 calendar days of issuance of NTP.
