This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and award. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, White River National Wildlife Refuge, Arkansas has a requirement for approximately 10,000 ton of SB 2 Gravel material. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will be 8/15/2024-11/15/24. This posting will be referred to under Request for Quote (RFQ) Number 140F0S24Q0019. Deliveries will be FBO 57 C Camp Rd, ST Charles, Fallon, AR 72140 at the locations specified in the Map in the Statement of Work. This document is conducted under the procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13 incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-04. This requirement is set aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 212319, Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarrying with a business size standard of 500 employees. In order to have a quote considered, all bidders must be registered in the System Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov) The Government intends to award one firm fixed priced contract as a result of this combined synopsis solicitation. Questions regarding this Solicitation must be submitted in writing, no later than Monday, April 22, 2024 at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 212319. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. This procurement is to support the rehabilitation of RT# 011 S. CC Camp Road at Dale Bumpers White River NWR, AR. Roadway rehabilitation will be +/- 5 miles, with the addition of a low water crossing and approximately 850¿ of bank stabilization work. Construction will be completed by means of a Regional, Maintenance Action Team (MAT) To support the efforts of the MAT, this is a request for the procurement and delivery of tail gate spread of 10,000 tons of SB2 gravel. Gravel delivery will begin on RT#011 S. CC Camp road and extend =/- 5 miles. Delivery throughout the project area will be by use of tailgate spread.
