DE-PRIME HOOK NWR, Lead Shot Abatement This is a sources sought for Lead Shot Abatement Services at Prime Hook NWR, in Milton, DE. Please see attached Statement of Work. If you are interested in the work, please email the following information to Robert_Sung@fws.gov by 3/16/2023 at 10 AM Pacific Time. 1. DUNS # and CAGE code 2. A statement that your firm can: A. Obtain all necessary permits and utility clearances. B. Complete a Health and Safety Plan, respond to comments and obtain the Service¿s approval. C. Conduct a wetlands delineation and any necessary survey work, D. Conduct a tree species and diameter at breast height survey, to identify trees that may be saved during the site preparation, E. Conduct a supplemental lead soil screening event to delineate the extent of contamination in the northern portion of the wetland, F. Perform groundwater and surface water quality testing, G. Decommission monitoring wells that are no longer needed, H. Perform all necessary site preparation, I. Identify and evaluate a source of clean fill, J. Prepare a Contaminated Materials Management Plan and obtain DNREC approval K. Implement the remedy as described in BBJ (2021b, Section 5) including the application of EnviroBlend® CS during soil mixing, L. Conduct waste characterization and obtain Solid Waste Disposal Facility approval M. Document that all field equipment were thoroughly inspected and cleaned of seeds, plants, insects, and other natural material that may foster the spread of invasive species N. Prepare a Long-Term Stewardship Plan (LTSP) after the implementation of the removal action to describe any restrictions for future use of the site, long-term monitoring requirements and any other actions that are required to prevent or diminish future exposure potential.
