This project is supported by the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA). This opportunity is only available to Small Businesses. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has a requirement for the design and construction of a new headquarters and visitor's center building at Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Tulelake, CA (Siskiyou County). This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This will be a Firm-Fixed Priced Contract and award will be evaluated on a Best Value - Tradeoff basis. The complete Solicitation will be posted to https://beta.sam.gov/ under Contract Opportunities on or about May 27, 2021. Interested contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management, www.sam.gov) and complete Online Representations and Certifications. A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will be announced with the solicitation. The NAICS code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $39.5 million. The project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Work shall commence within 15 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 18 months. Bonding Requirements: 20% Bid Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond.
