A written solicitation will be issued and attached to this posting for reference only. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-03, effective December 13, 2019. This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 333415, Air-conditioning and Warm Air heating and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing and the business size standard is 1,250 Employees. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a 120¿ research vessel and is looking to replace the older refrigerator/freezer system. We are requesting quotes to purchase, deliver and install three (3) new condensing units (1 refrigeration & 2 freezer) and three (3) new evaporators (1 refrigeration & 2 freezer) and all inter-connecting lines appropriately sized for two freezers of 68 cubic feet each and one refrigerator of 117 cubic feet. Provide, mount, plumb and electrically connect two (2) freezer condensing units complete with defrost time clock, crankcase heater, ambient fan cycle switch, accumulator and power monitor, plus enclosure if needed on the beds/mounting brackets provided in the Tiglax¿s engine room. Mount and electrically connect one (1) refrigeration condensing unit complete with defrost time clock, crankcase heater, ambient fan cycle switch and power monitor plus enclosure, if needed on the beds/mounting brackets provided in the Tiglax¿s engine room. Mount three evaporator units (2 freezer & 1 refrigeration), each in their individual boxes, one freezer unit in dry lab freezer box, one freezer unit in galley freezer box and the one refrigeration unit in the walk-in galley cooler box. All three units must be plumbed and wired between the Tiglax engine room (condenser unit location) and each of their respective boxes. Ceiling mounting bracket/attachments for evaporators should be stainless steel, low-profile Unistrut. All three condensing units will be supplied and run off 220 single phase/60hz. All three evaporators will be supplied and run off 110 single phase/60hz. All units must be fully filled with refrigerant and in working order upon completion. Quote must include cost of shipping to Homer Alaska. Period of Performance: 1 ¿ 29 February 2020 (must be installed NLT 29 Feb 2020) The basis for award is Best Value to the government.
