Demolition / Asbestos Abatement 1. The work consists of demolition, removal and disposal of asbestos containing, 12 inch x 12 inch floor tiles, underlying mastic and all perimeter base moulding. Asbestos removal activities must be performed in accordance with project construction documents, EPA, OSHA, and applicable federal, state and local government regulations. 2. All asbestos containing materials and other construction debris shall be removed from the property and shall be disposed of at a jurisdictionally accepted waste management facility. B. Laminate Flooring and Trim Installation 1. The work consists of sub-floor preparation, installation of approximately 1,130 square feet of laminate wood flooring, and installation of associated accessories, moulding/surface transitions and baseboard. All installation work is to be performed in accordance with project construction documents.
