The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Construction/A&E Operations is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Repairs to Visitor Center and Administrative Office Building roofs and interior features. Construction project includes repairs to portions of the roof on both facilities including; 2nd Story, Metal roofing areas, flat roofing area, skylights, and also some interior structure and repairs at various locations. Work is planned for the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, near Chincoteague, Virginia, 23336. This procurement action is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside. The primary NAICS code is 238160 Roofing Contractors, with a size standard of $ 16.5 million. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36 Construction. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects (c) Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This work involves providing all labor, equipment, supplies, design and construct as necessary to complete work as defined in the Specifications, Drawings and any additional attachments that will be provided when the solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on 1) Past Performance Rating (for recent/relevant work); and 2) Price Proposal (Quote Schedule B). Solicitation package number 140F0521R008 will include the Solicitation Forms (SF1442), Statement of Work and other attachments as required.
