Sand Lake NWR South Dakota, HOUGHTON DAM REMOVAL: contractor shall provide all material, equipment, labor and supervision to remove a 110-foot long service spillway; work includes excavating a trapezoidal channel through the dam at EL. 1282.5¿ comprised of a 150-long bottom dimension with side slopes of 3(H):1(V); installation of rip-rap (D50=12 minus) along the crest, bottom and side-slopes of the new excavation as indicated on the construction drawings; and install a new 20 ft. wide guardrail barrier on the dam crest where indicated on the construction drawings for the Houghton Dam Structure at Sand Lake National Wildlife Refuge.
