The upcoming solicitation will be a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed price non-commercial items construction contract to replace, install/repair and remove both boundary and interior field fencing (barb & smooth wire) at Klamath Marsh National Wildlife Refuge in Chiloquin, OR. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code is 238990 and the small business size standard is $15,000,000. The basis of the award will be the lowest evaluated price in accordance with FAR Part 13, to result in an award to the responsible quoter pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about July 31, 2020 with an anticipated proposal due date approximately 14 days after. Award is expected to be made within 30 days of the proposal due date. The performance period of the resulting contract will begin from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed (NTP) through no later than December 31, 2021.
