The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is preparing to issue Request for Quote 140F0120Q0046. The solicitation and associated documents will be available on or about Monday, March 23, 2020. This requirement is to install one (01) above ground fuel storage tank (Govt Furnished). The scope of the project includes: (1) the removal, disconnection of the electrical, and disposal of one (01) existing 400 gallon tank (see photo); (2) the construction of a new 10ft x 8ft reinforced concrete slab foundation; (3) the installation of one (01) new Government Furnished 500 gallon Above Ground Fuel Storage Tank (AST) to be set, leveled and centered on new concrete pad, the replacement dispensers (pumps and meters) to be connected to the existing electrical connections, with correct signage and labels placed on tanks. (4) the construction and placement of 12 concrete-filled pipe bollards The project site is located at James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge, which is located on Oahu National Wildlife Refuges Complex in Oahu County at 56-795 Kamehameha Highway, Kauku, HI 96731. This RFQ is being advertised as a Total Small Business Set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238110 Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors with a size standard of $16.5 Million. The estimated magnitude for this construction project less than $25,000.00. This requirement has a three week performance period. Contractors must have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this requirement. SAM registration is free and can be accessed at http://www.sam.gov.
