THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL The FSC Code is 6840, the NAICS Code is 325320 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. Notice of Intent for Award: The US Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award a sole source requirement to Bell Laboratories Inc, to purchase Brodifacoum 25D Conservation Bait for Midway Atoll. In quantities of roughly: roughly 193,774 lbs - In bulk bags of 800lbs of bait with pull string release on bottom of bulk bag. Each bulk bag packed into an ox box with plastic liner, 3 lbs of desiccant and 1 insect trapper/monitor and roughly 3,775 lbs - In 25 lb buckets with desiccant in each bucket, palletized and shrink wrapped. Heat treated debarked pallets. Bell Laboratories Inc has been determined to be the only firm with the capability to provide the required bait since the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) is the Federal statute that governs the registration, distribution, sale, and use of pesticides in the United States and FIFRA Sections 13 and 14 set forth the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as the enforcement authority for FIFRA. Brodifacoum 25D Conservation is the current approved/labeled bait for Midway Atoll and Bell Labortories Inc is the manufacturer. If you disagree with this sole source, you may submit your argument and a statement of capability for this requirement for consideration.
