The Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Colorado River Agency Electrical Services (CRA-ES), has a requirement to replace the current cooling water strainers. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation number 140D7020Q0003 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This RFQ is set-aside for SMALL BUSINESS concerns under NAICS code 333999, using the 500-employee size standard. Quotations must be Firm Fixed-Price. Commercial service procedures of FAR parts 12 and 13 will be followed. Submit all quotes to shelly_glenn@ibc.doi.gov no later than 11:00pm, Eastern Time (ET) on Friday, February 21, 2020. All questions must be submitted by no later than 1:00pm ET on Friday February 14, 2020 to Shelly Glenn at shelly_glenn@ibc.doi.gov. Amendment One serves to: 1.) Extend the questions due date to February 14, 2020 at 1:00 PM EST. 2.) Extend the quotations submitted by date to February 21, 2020 at 11:00 PM EST. 3.) Extend the expected period of performance by one (1) month to 03/01/2020 through 10/31/2020. 4.) Disseminate question and answer: Question 1 Asked: "The manufacturer has informed me that there has been a design change since the request was originally sent out...will we be able to use the (Boll) filter 6.18 GR100 DN6 for this RFQ?" Question 1 Response: Section 3.3.1 in the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation states that, "Strainers shall meet or exceed the specifications of the AquaBoll 324.310 DN6" Automatic Self-Cleaning Wedge Wire Candle Strainer." Please ensure your quoted strainers meet or exceed the specifications.
