The purpose of this requirement is for Airforce Research Laboratory (AFRL) on Eglin, AFB, FL. AFRL ground test ranges are responsible for testing of developmental technology created to support warfighters across the US DoD, including the US Department of Energy (DoE), and other government agencies.¿To carry out its mission, the AFRL must keep all aspects of its ground test ranges operational.¿ This includes low speed vehicles, such as lawnmowers, zero turns, and multiple pieces of heavy equipment used on AFRL grounds in Eglin, AFB.¿These vehicles require periodic maintenance and impromptu repairs to support AFRL testing activities. A list of all equipment needing repair and maintenance services is located in the PWS.
