Amendment 00001 was issued to notify vendors that the estimated quantity of users is 15. The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), on behalf of the DOI Office of the Secretary's Office of Emergency Management, is seeking to establish a contract for automated threats and hazard data feeds for their ArcGIS Velocity. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items", as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement will be solicited and awarded as full and open acquisition utilizing the procedures under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items with the procedures outlined in FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and FAR 19.502-2(b), Total small business set-asides.
