The Contractor shall provide OHTA and Interior with independent historical knowledge, research and reporting expertise, and advice concerning Interior¿s management of trust funds and natural resources and to provide non-inherently governmental functions that assist OHTA in accomplishing all aspects of its mission. Historical research services are divided into six specific task areas: 1) document identification, search, and collection; 2) compiling collections of responsive historical documents; 3) preparing histories of Tribal Trust Fund administrative processes and procedures; 4) documenting historical treatment, management and use of trust resources; 5) preparing documentation for real estate appraisals; and 6) other tasks as needed.
