THIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES, IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE BUY INDIAN ACT, AS REQUIRED FOR A SET-ASIDE DETERMINATION. The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is a federal agency under the US Department of Interior. This service project is for Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU) which is a Bureau-funded and operated school. This is procurement for CISCO MERAKI WIFI UPGRADE will establish a single award firm-fixed price contract. See attached SOW for more detail. The BIE Contracting Officer (CO) will give priority to Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) for all purchases (supplies, general services) subject to the Buy Indian Act regardless of dollar amount. If the BIE CO determines that there isn’t a reasonable expectation of obtaining competitive and reasonable offers from ISBEEs, then the CO will give next priority to IEEs. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above and attached should INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Company name. 2. Company Point of contact (name/title/telephone number/e-mail address). 3. GSA/ FSS / SEWP Contract number, if applicable. 4. SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) Number. 5. Tax ID number. 6. Indication of which business category (IEE or ISBEE) the organization qualifies under. 7. A capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability.
