To respond to questions received: Question A. 140A2323Q0135 is titled Software License on page 4 of 19. Yet the Statement of work is titled Brand Name or equal to OCLC Worldshare Management Service. Is the software license we are to quote for the line items in the Pricing Summary only? Or does this include software license for OCLC as well? Is the contractor to work with OLC, KC-LSP on this project? The tasks section mention OCLC, KC-LSP, but does not give any context to how the contractor will be utilized in this project. Is this supplemental staff for the project? For example, an hourly rate for the year? How will work be handed out from OCLC? GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The library currently uses OCLC, WMS as the integrated library system. Switching from the system would require intensive training and the transfer of large amounts of bibliographic data. Kansas City Public Library Services Program was a consortium that included access to Sirsi Dynix (integrated library system). KC-LSP is no longer used as the system administrator. OCLC is the company that owns all line item services. If you are an existing library consortium that already uses OCLC, WMS, this contract would benefit you. You provide access to service and be our system administrator. Question B: Is the customer willing to make purchase the complete bundle including base year and option year at once. This will come up with a big discount amount. GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: With budgets, we simply go one year at a time, including the option years. NO MORE QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
