How old is the system? It was installed in the summer or fall of 2020. (I was not involved with the purchase or installation of the system. It was done thru the TNCS Facility department.) 2a. What is meant by "Interactive Voice Response"? IVR is an automated telephone system that combines pre-recorded messages or text-to-speech technology with a dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) interface to engage callers, allowing them to provide and access information without a live agent. 2b. Can you provide some clarity as to what the expectations are with this feature? To answer calls when the office staff are not available or busy. (This feature was included on the Telecom SOW template provided by our local FSM office.)
