Where is the placement of the roll up door(s) going to be (on the end of the container, side of container)? Government Response: The roll up doors to be place on the side of the Container two of them at both ends. 3. The specs for a standard 40 foot container is 40' long x 8' wide x 8'6¿ height and the specs for a 40 foot high cube container is 40' long x 8' wide x 9'6¿ height. Are you requesting the standard 40' long x 8' wide x 8'6" height storage container? Government Response: Requesting the standard 40' long x 8' wide x 8'6" height storage container. 4. Are the rollup doors going to replace the cargo door or is there a location on the container that you would like to add a rollup door? Government Response: Roll up doors are requested two of them place towards the end of the container. 5. Are the rollup doors going to replace the cargo door or is there a location on the container that you would like to add a rollup door? The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is soliciting offers to procure for Storage Container for Seba Dalkai School. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 140A2322Q0358, herein cited is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. STORAGE CONTAINER: USED AND REFURBISHED 8 foot x 8 foot x 40 foot WITH ROLL UP DOORS The government intends to award a requirements contract for this requirement. The solicitation is for a base year with four option years. Contractor shall provide a summary sheet detailing how the unit price was arrived at. Estimated Quantities - The quantities shown in the schedule have been estimated to establish a basis of evaluating proposals for the purpose of award and are not intended to reflect exact quantities. Exact quantities cannot be ascertained in advance, the quantities in the schedule may be increased or decreased according to actual need. The Government is obligated to pay for only actual quantities performed.
