Amendment No. 1 to Request for Quote - Magnacide H aquatic herbicide (Acrolein, stabilized) for Bureau of Indian Affairs - Wapato Irrigation Project This Amendment No. 1 to the Request for Quote removes the Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise set aside from all line items and changes the set aside for all line items to a Total Small Business set aside under NAICS 325320, Pesticide and Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing, and small business size standard 1,000 employees. This amendment also extends the due date for submission of quotes. The new due date for quotes is March 3, 2021 at noon Pacific Standard Time. Quotes will be accepted by email to Anita.MacAuley@bia.gov; Faxed and mailed quotes will not be accepted. Quotes must include the solicitation number 140A1221Q0008 in the subject line of your email. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or around March 1, 2021. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating applies to this solicitation. Set Aside: This requirement is set aside 100% for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs). Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: Magnacide H aquatic herbicide for irrigation application, qty. of 12 skids; skids of 2450 lbs. each. (29,400 lbs. total); product service code: 6810, chemicals. Quoted price shall include hazmat fees and freight. NOTE: A brand name restriction applies to all items under this solicitation; only Magnacide H (Acrolein) is acceptable; offerors proposing brands other than Magnacide H (Acrolein) will be removed from consideration for award. Brand name justification is as follows: A brand name justification applies to all line items on this order. Only Magnacide H in 2450-lb. skids manufactured by Baker Hughes, a division of Baker Petrolite, will be considered for award.
