This Sources Sought is being issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Southern Plains Regional Office (SPRO), on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Justice Services (OJS), District II. The BIA intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to a county or private correctional institution in western Oklahoma. OJS, District II, has a need for an established correctional institution to provide temporary detention services to include housing and associated services within its detention facility, for adult arrestee(s)/inmates(s) who have been arrested, awaiting transport, awaiting adjudication, serving sentences after conviction, awaiting release from custody because of having been arrested or convicted of criminal violations occurring within Indian Country jurisdiction. The rate charged is a fixed daily rate per person. The Bureau of Indian Affairs will be awarding a contract for a base year with four option years effective March 1, 2023, through February 29, 2024 (base year). This Sources Sought affords all Indian owned Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE), Indian owned Economic Enterprises (IEE), Small Businesses, Large Businesses and County Governments the opportunity to submit their capabilities statement by January 5, 2023.
