The U.S. Park Police (USPP) is interested in procuring COTS sustainment support of the USPP Mesh Network System and operating system on 2 USPP Bell 412 EP aircraft. The Mesh Network System is a series of approximately 12 radios located at fixed locations and on mobile platforms throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. Each radio acts as a receiver as well as a transmitter operating on “C” and “S” Band frequencies. The radios are made by Sylvus systems and only interface with USPP equipment through an established operating system. The USPP can provide access to the radio antennas allowing other organizations to add them to their network. The support contract shall include up to 15 engineering technician on-site support days per month, reach back engineering, technical support from the contractor facility, and contractor portal access. The USPP requires onsite maintenance of equipment once per week including required consumable items to perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on communications equipment located throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area. The Government owns all equipment in the helicopter and on the ground. The complete Sources Sought Document and Business Data Form are attached. THIS IS A REQUEST TO DETERMINE POTENITAL SOURCES CAPABLE OF FULFILLING THIS REQUIREMENT ONLY. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Sources Sought does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the US Park Police is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought; all costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.
