Specifications: This equipment shall come with an American (NEMA 5-15 to IEC60310C13 connectors, UL & CSA approved) power cord, an USB communication cable, and an instruction manual CD. The communication interfaces for this instrument shall be USB. The equipment shall also come with long Test Leads. The equipment shall be capable of predicting the remaining life in the vacuum interrupter bottle. The equipment shall have an enclosure that is suitable to allow outdoor use. The equipment shall be capable of operating in temperatures of -10C to 50C and be capable of being stored in temperatures of -30C to 70C. The instrument shall be portable and weigh less than 40 pounds. This instrument shall be capable of testing 6.9kV and 11.95kV vacuum interrupters. The instrument shall require that the equipment being tested is completely isolated from the electrical system. The instrument shall be capable of performing the tests near to or inside the equipment being tested.
