The Department of State has an urgent need to extend the local guard services at the U.S. Embassy in Brasilia and consuls throughout Brazil to the incumbent SOS/Evik JV. A full and open competitive solicitation 19AQMM22R0066 has been posted on sam.gov. Establishing a six (6) month base extension with 1 additional three (3) month option extension, and three (3) additional one (1) month option extensions will allow for the State Department time for the evaluation of proposals, contract award determination and 90-day transition period and will afford the Offeror required time. The local guard services shall prevent unauthorized access, protect life, maintain order, deter criminal attacks against employees, dependents, property, terrorist acts against all U.S. assets, and prevent damage to Government property.
