(Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date). The Embassy of the United States in Lima, Peru will issue a solicitation for local moving services of furniture and appliances to and from the U.S. Embassy’s warehouses, and various Embassy leases and residences mainly located in the Lima area. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, managerial, administrative, transportation and direct labor personnel to accomplish the work in this contract. The contractor will also have to move, asssemble or disassemble any furniture inside the residence as per instructions from the GSO Staff assigned to the move. Anticipated performance is for one base period and two one-year periods at the option of the U.S. Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. This pre-solicitation notice is to be advertised for 15 days. The Goverment plans to issue the solicitation itself on March 12, 2020 and will be advertised for 40 days in Contract Opportunities and in the U.S. Embassy Lima webpage. No paper copies will be mailed.
