This solicitation is for health and life insurance for employees and dependents at the Embassy of the United States of America located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and possibly select other locations. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021). No electronic offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time. Please see Amendment 0002 and Amendment 0003, which do the following: Amendment 0002: - Extends Offer's Due Date from Monday, December 19, 2022 to Friday, December 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. (Local Time). Amendment 0003: - Replace Page 5 to correct in Section B.3.2 the Categories of the Retention Table from "Employee", "Employee's Spouse", and "Employee's Dependent Child" to "Self", "Self Plus One", and "Family" respectively. - Replace Pages 9 and 10 to delete in Section B.7.2 Table of Retention the Column "Accidental Death and Dismemberment" - Replace Page 69 to add the Tables “LIFE CLAIMS PAID” and “AVERAGE INSURED MEMBER COUNTS” for the last 3 years.
