Criminal Justice Advisor
The U.S. Department of State’s INL Bureau seeks a U.S.-citizen Personal Services Contractor as a Criminal Justice Advisor based at U.S. Embassy Bogotá, Colombia, with regular travel throughout Colombia, including conflict zones. The role manages, designs, and monitors criminal deterrence, law enforcement, anti-money laundering/illicit finance, and anti-corruption programs, while liaising with Colombian institutions and U.S. interagency partners and serving as GOR/COR/AOR and approximately one-quarter-time Deputy for the Criminal Justice Division. The contract period is 12 months from award with four optional one-year extensions, and required post-award training includes courses before or within 120 days of arrival and within the first year. Base pay is FS-02 equivalent, $102,409–$150,391 per annum. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, hold relevant degree/experience (including 4+ years foreign assistance and Latin America work), and possess professional Spanish proficiency and clearances.
