Senior Aviation Advisor – Libya External Office
The U.S. Department of State is seeking a Senior Aviation Advisor to provide remote program management and contractor oversight for aviation support missions originating from Malta and Tunisia into Libya. The position is a remote role performed from the selectee's home of record within the United States, but requires travel to Malta, Tunisia, Libya, and potentially other regional locations. The contract has a period of performance of twelve months from the date of award with four optional one-year extensions. Compensation is set at the GS-14 equivalent level based on the selectee's home of record locality pay. The role involves serving as the senior aviation advisor and Government Technical Monitor, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of fixed-wing passenger and cargo operations, including tactical missions, for the Libya External Office.
