The Embassy of the United State in Addis Ababa will launch the solicitation on Beta Sam website when it is available. The requirement is for providing of life insurance services to the locally hired employees of the US Mission. The estimated number of employees is 1,143. Please note that these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsive sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via Beta Sam. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract type. The solicitation will be issued at beta.sam.gov. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
