The U.S. Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica plans to issue an RFQ for trenching, conduit, and ground-well installation at various locations on the Embassy compound. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, supervision, materials, backfilling/compaction, and management for an infrastructure support system involving handhole/underground conduit trenching, wall penetrations into existing manholes/handholes, Schedule 80 PVC conduit, prefabricated sweeping bends, RGS transitions, pull lines, and specified soil/backfill materials. Work includes locating existing utilities before excavation, protecting affected drains/piping/structures, and compacting backfill per ASTM standards. The anticipated period of performance is a base period of 21 days after contract award. Offerors must have active SAM.gov registration at proposal submission and award and comply with local insurance and Defense Base Act insurance requirements; the solicitation will be posted only on SAM.gov.
