Sources Sought - U.S. Mission Maseru, Lesotho
The State Department is conducting market research via a Sources Sought/RFI to identify all interested vendors capable of providing local guard services at the U.S. Embassy Maseru, Lesotho. The services would protect U.S. personnel, facilities, and equipment; prevent unauthorized access; maintain order; and deter criminal/terrorist attacks. Vendors must demonstrate capabilities in host-country licensing, labor/tax law compliance, insurance, radio/security systems, guard equipment, 24/7 staffing, hiring/training host-country nationals, customs/import-export knowledge, AECA/ITAR compliance, and government property accountability. The effort also requires managing transition and standing up the new contract within an estimated 90 calendar days. This is not a solicitation, and interested vendors should review the draft PWS/Section H (after signing the Vendor Restricted Access Form) and complete the Contractor Information Form/Questionnaire with their capability response.
