The United States Embassy in Nassau, The Bahamas has a requirement for the installation of a circuit and 65Mbps of fiber internet at the Embassy building in Nassau, The Bahamas. Fiber internet service is needed to provide internet/intranet browsing capabilities and access to department of state emails for the OPENNET network at the Chancery. It is fundamentally the network for which we login to everyday using our Department of State desktop computers. This particular service is the primary backbone and is our main connection for OpenNet With 24/7 availability and 24/7 customer service access. To be eligible to provide these services in Nassau, The Bahamas, you must be licensed by URCA, The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority.
