The solicitation will not include the box. The contractor shall furnish and deliver the vehicle to the U.S. Embassy in Algiers, Algeria. Warranty shall be honored through a dealer located in Algiers, Algeria, with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for the vehicles available locally. The solicitation will close on or around June 05, 2025 (TBC). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The U.S. Embassy in Algiers will launch the solicitation on the https://dz.usembassy.gov/ website when it is available. This solicitation aims to acquire a Box Truck similar or equivalent to a new 2024 or 2025 IVECO Daily 35 C15 E3. The salient characteristics include: 1-CHASSIS: CABIN VERSION 2-WEIGHT: 3.5T 3-ENGINE POWER: 146 EUROIII 4-TYPE OF GEARBOX/NUMBER OF SPEEDS: 6-SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX 5-AXLE CONFIGURATION: 4X2 6-REAR WHEELS: 3.5T WHEELS 7-FRONT SUSPENSION TYPE: MECHANICAL 8-TYPE OF REAR SUSPENSIONS: MECHANICAL 9-LEFT-HAND DRIVE The government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. Advance payments are not authorized. It is mandatory for all companies conducting business with the U.S. Government with contract values exceeding $30,000 to register on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. There is no cost associated with registering in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to prevent any delays in awarding the contract to the successful bidder.
