The U.S. Embassy in Lilongwe, Malawi is seeking proposals from General Contractors to extend the existing perimeter wall and replace the palisade/metal bars in other parts of the wall with solid brick infill at the U.S. Government Chief of Mission Residence 10/316 – 318. The scope includes: • Removal of the existing concertina wire from the perimeter wall and pillars. • Extension of the existing pillars and adjacent wall panels to 2700mm/9 ft. • Removal of the existing palisade/metal bars from panels. • Construction of solid brick walls to replace the palisade/metal bars. • Installation of concrete coping on the top of the roadside wall/front. • Installation of concertina wire on the side walls.
