The United States Embassy in Mauritius is interested in purchasing a 14-Seater Passenger van with the following requirements: Vehicle must already be within the Country of Mauritius Capable of seating for 14 persons Automatic/Manual Transmission In-vehicle 180-degree rear view camera and parking system (rear park sensors) (Preferred)- Available in white or silver color Equipped with latest safety features (Airbags/ABS/ESP/ Traction control/ Three-point seat belts for drivers and passengers-- with proven safety record) Anti-lock disc brakes (on all wheels) Vehicle equipped with AC and USB ports. (Preferred) - Rear seats to have forward and after adjustments with reclining features. Mandatory vendor shall be registered in SAM.gov https://sam.gov/content/home Vendor shall list complete mechanical specifications and vehicle dimensions as an attachment to the quote. Vehicle must be in country of performance. Warranty: 3 years or 100,000km whichever comes first Vendors shall provide first three services with oil, filter and labor free of charge up to 15000 km The vehicle shall be diplomatic registered so price shall be with 100% duty free/VAT free. VAT Exemption certificate will be provided after award. Vehicle Delivery/Collection The Government will require the vehicle earliest possible, subject to approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mauritius. The Contractor shall deliver the vehicle to the U.S. Embassy located at Rogers, House, John Kennedy Street Port Louis or notify the requesting office when the vehicle is ready for collection. The Contractor shall notify the requesting office when the vehicle is ready for collection. The Contractor shall notify the requesting office at least 3 days prior to delivery/collection of vehicle to ensure officer’s availability of inspection and acceptance of the vehicle. Payment One hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be paid after the following: Receipt of vehicle in satisfactory condition; Presentation of an invoice; and Submission of any other documents to be provided by the Contractor as a condition of the making of final payment, example warranties and ownership papers. The Contractor should expect payment 30 days after receipt of accepted vehicle or 30 days after receipt of invoice at the Embassy’s payment office whichever is later. An original invoice must be submitted in the form of PDF file to FMO Voucher Section email Invoice_PortLouis@state.gov .
