Please note this solicitation is not yet ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Sierra Leone will launch the solicitation on the https://beta.sam.gov/ website when it is available. The requirement is for the provision of medical insurance service to the locally hired employees of the U.S. Embassy Freetown, Sierra Leone. The estimated number of employees is approximately 225 with approximately 450 eligible dependents. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which may be considered upon meeting the solicitation requirements. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Requirements contract with firm fixed price premiums. Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given.
