The Embassy of the United States of America in Budapest, Hungary is looking for interested Architect & Engineering contractors to provide quality control of construction works and designer’s supervision in connection with various Embassy projects. We plan to award an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) Purchase Order based on the demonstrated competence and qualifications of prospective contractors to perform the services at fair and reasonable prices. Individual requirements shall be met by the negotiation of separate task orders to the contract. The period of performance is 1 year with possible option years at the Embassy’s discretion, and is expected to start in May, 2024. All firms that respond to this solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform such a service. Each offeror must have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in HUNGARY; Required Qualifications: • The offeror shall possess all relevant licenses to be able to practice in HUNGARY. In their offer the offeror shall present proof of their licenses. • The offeror shall have proven experience with U.S. government projects (design or construction). The trades delegated by A&E in the execution of the contract shall include, but not limited to the following: • Architecture/building structures, • Structural engineering, • Mechanical engineering, • Electrical Engineering, • Fire protection, • BAS.
