PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The U.S. Embassy in Algiers intends to issue a solicitation for “Vehicle Cover Construction Project” on or around July 10, 2024. The solicitation will be posted on the U.S. Embassy in Algeria’s official website at dz.usembassy.gov and close on or around July 24, 2024. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for July 17. Time and meeting location will be provided with the issuance of the solicitation. This project consists of the construction of two vehicle covers on the U.S. Embassy Algiers compound. The construction will include two metallic structures to provide shade and overhead protection at specified locations along the perimeter of the U.S. Embassy’s chancery building. The structure will be composed of steel beams and columns. The roof shall be stretched canvas. The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 332311. Registrations: In order to be considered for a contract an offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov. No documents or other information will be available until the solicitation is issued.
