The Embassy of the United States in Beijing China requires group health insurance services for employees and their dependents and group life/accidental death & dismemberment/partial & total disability insurance coverage for locally hired employees only, for the Embassy and four consulates. Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The embassy of the United States in Beijing, China will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov when available. The anticipated performance period is for one base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. The Government may award a contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements No electronic offers will be accepted.
