The U.S. Embassy in Algiers intends to issue a solicitation for Test Pit Excavation to evaluate an existing building foundation on or around August 1, 2024. The solicitation will close on or around August 15, 2024. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for the week of August 4-8. An exact time and meeting location will provided with the issuance of the solicitation. The purpose of the test pits is to locate water infiltration into a building and to evaluate the building’s masonry foundation walls. The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors. Registrations: In order to be considered for a contract an offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov.
