The U.S. Embassy in Budapest, Hungary requires preventive maintenance services for the facility’s main service electrical distribution (switchgears, ATS, transformers, busbars, electrical panels, phase correcting units) located at its main Chancery building in the 5th district of Budapest, Hungary. These services shall result in all systems being serviced under this agreement being in good operational condition when activated. The contract will be for a period of one year, with a maximum of four one-year optional periods of performance, and will be expected to commence no later than 09/15/2023. All firms that respond to this solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform such a service. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements to submit a proposal: Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in HUNGARY; Be able to understand written and spoken English; Have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources available to perform the work, including trained, qualified, and licensed technicians to inspect, adjust, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance Have all licenses and permits required by local, Hungarian law; Meet all local, Hungarian insurance requirements; Have no adverse criminal record; Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interest of the United States of America; Be registered or ready to register in the SAM database at www.sam.gov
