The U.S. Embassy in Budapest, Hungary is now soliciting quotes for daily landscaping services at its Chancery compound located at 12 Szabadság tér, 1054 Budapest, Hungary. In general, the work shall include the maintenance of all landscaping, the maintenance and repair of all irrigation systems, driveway / parking spaces cleaning, fertilization, chemical applications, debris removal, weed control, daily cleaning of the entrance checkpoint, snow removal in the winter, etc. The period of performance is 1 year with 2 option years, starting on September 1, 2023. All firms that respond to this solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform such a service. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements to submit a proposal: Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in HUNGARY; Be able to understand written and spoken English; Have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources available to perform the work; Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in landscape and lawn care maintenance and good past performance records; Have all licenses and permits required by local, Hungarian law; Meet all local, Hungarian insurance requirements; Have no adverse criminal record; Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interest of the United States of America; Be registered or ready to register in the SAM database at www.sam.gov
