This is a NOTICE OF INTENT to award a single source procurement under NAICS code 517410. The U.S. Embassy Bogota, Colombia will award a stand-alone contract to Global Satellite Engineering Inc to supply GSE Tracking Devices and Platform. The estimated period of performance will be for one year. The stand-alone contract will be under NAICS code 517410 to Global Satellite Engineering Inc as the only provider for the requested GPS Tracking Hardware and Software for the country of Colombia. Embassy Bogota, utilizes their existing system for all Global Tracking Solutions in both Central and South America and no other vendor currently operates in this country for the required system. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, FAR Part 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. For this requirement, Global Satellite Engineering Inc is considered the only responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy Embassy Bogota requirements.
