The Department of State is conducting market research to determine the degree of capability by U.S. Small Businesses only in providing consolidation & receiving services in the area of the Port of Seattle, WA. The Department of State, Office of Logistics Operations has an essential role in supporting transportation of supplies, equipment, and household effects to U.S. embassies & consulates overseas. The primary function of the Department’s consolidated receiving contractor operations in the U.S. are to provide warehouse services and receive items from U.S. sources being shipped to embassies and consulates overseas and consolidate them and prepare for shipping in sea containers and air shipment to their onward destination. Particular services for this sources sought, are to be provided within a 20 mile commute of the U.S. Despatch Agency office located at 2800 S. 192 Street, Seattle, WA 98188.
