A list of services is below: BACKGROUND The Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is responsible for the development, supervision, coordination, and implementation of international narcotics control and law enforcement assistance activities and international criminal justice issues for the Department of State. Since 2002, INL’s Afghanistan/Pakistan Program Office (INL/AP) through its in-country presence at U.S. Embassy Islamabad has managed several programs to build the capacity of the Government of Pakistan’s law enforcement and border security personnel through training, mentoring, equipment transfers, and infrastructure improvements.
