The requirement is for providing of fuel and fuel delivery services as well as supply fuel for the Government owned vehicles via credit cards to the U.S Mission in Lusaka Zambia. The annual estimate of Unleaded Petrol and Diesel to be delivered is two hundred thousand (200,000) liters petrol and seven hundred and twenty thousand (720,000) liters diesel. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract with economic price adjustment. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register immediately if interested in this procurement to assure registration and/or renewal is current prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Offers received which are not SAM registered may be deemed non-responsible with no further consideration.
