The U.S. Mission in Vietnam has a requirement for the providing of health insurance services to the locally hired employees of the US Mission located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. The estimated number of employees is 698 with approximately 637 eligible dependents. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation number is 19VM3020Q0001and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation/contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses. Items to be acquired: Health Insurance Services for the locally employed staff of the U.S. Mission in Vietnam as described in the attached solicitation. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Offers are due by 17h00PM on March 30, 2020 local time in Hanoi, Vietnam. All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation (if available) through the web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation package, amendments, and site visit minutes will be issued by way of BetaSAM website only. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be received in writing. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation based on the availability of funds. It is the responsibility of the contractor to frequently check the web site for all notices, amendments, etc. regarding this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered.
