The Embassy of the United States to Ukraine will launch the solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website when it is available. The subject of this solicitation will be the supply of locks and cylinders for the U.S. Embassy diplomatic residences. Detailed information and qualification requirement will be provided in Request for Quotation. The anticipated duration period of an IDIQ contract is base year and two option years. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. All prospective offerors are required to be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) at the time an offer or a quotation is submitted and shall continue to be registered until the time of the award of the contract, during the performance, and through final payment under the contract. In case the offeror does not have the required registration in SAM at the time an offer or a quotation is submitted, the Contracting Officer will proceed with an award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror.
