This solicitation includes specific AV equipment, installation, warranty, and the training of staff. Only companies located in the United Kingdom and specializing in this field should submit a proposal which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. It is compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as the company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder. The US Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference at the site. The pre-proposal conference will be held on August 19, 2024, at 10:00am at the US Embassy, 33 Nine Elms Lane, London, SW11 7US. Please ensure you provide the names of the individuals who will attend the site visit on or before August 14, 2024, to the email address below. Please submit any questions you may have concerning the solicitation documents in writing to londonproc@state.gov by August 20, 2024, at 5:00pm BST. The US Embassy London has a requirement to upgrade the AV equipment in one of its Training Rooms. This solicitation will include specific AV equipment, installation, and the training of staff. Only companies located in the United Kingdom and specializing in this field should submit a proposal which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a site visit and the date for this site visit will be in the solicitation. This opportunity allows for electronic responses. Please submit your offer prior to the response date and time. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. To register in SAM, an NCAGE code is required. If you do not have an NCAGE number, this be obtained before registering in SAM. There are no fees associated with NCAGE or SAM registration.
